Contrast sleeveless dress features, side seam pockets, a cutout on the back of the neck with a tie for ease of pulling over your head and very light gathering at the skirt. Great for comfort and battling harsh summers. Can be layered in cooler climates.
The top of the dress is a gingham fabric remnant bought in Japan from a barber’s wife who was decluttering her sewing stash. The skirt is recycled a bright red fabric from a thrift shop. Bias binding used is cut from a vintage rainbow pillowslip gifted from a vintage seller.
100% cotton. Skirt is lined with a pure cotton fabric from secondhand bedding. Handmade in Australia by yours truly! Includes matching belt and headband. Last photo to show intended fit and not of the actual dress for this product post.
Please take in mind the fabric is woven meaning not stretchy. Vintage fabrics may have small imperfections due to time and use during the past which is the beauty of it – sustainable and being able to breathe new life into these gorgeous fabrics that have stories to tell.
