Upcycled reworked vintage piece. It is made from a preloved plain white dress. I gave it a fabric paint job, cut it to crop length whilst using the lower half to make the cape. The cape had to be securely hand sewn to the dress straps that became a new neckline.
The explosive colour bomb pom poms are made of leftover and secondhand sourced yarn The lace is thrifted which was used to create the tie and the star shape on the front. The cotton for the hand embroidery is leftover from my first collection to add sprinkle like needlework to the star.
M/L size (UK10 to UK14). Measurements: bust-96, waist-118, length-33 and cape-35. Main is rayon. Acrylic yarn. Small darn in right wing (last photo). Upcycled in Australia by yours truly.
