Hand knitted and based off the Japanese Haori - a hip or thigh length jacket worn over kimono. The yarns are made of fluffy mill end yarns in pink, purple, blues and white. Each knitted square was hand sewn together to create this one off piece.
The tassels on the sleeve are additional flair - made with cut up strips of scrap knitted fabric. Very soft, cozy and warm for winter but also a playful statement piece for both everyday and festival looks.
