Bright blue smock dress with free matching sash and headband. Made from a bright blue cotton remnant printed with diagonal stripes and bits of red, yellow and green. Will soften upon wash and wear. Binding is recycled from a vintage rainbow pillow case. No zip or buttons - pullover style. Features short sleeves, back keyhole, lightly gathered skirt and front patch pockets. Unlined.
Measurements (cm): bust-95, waist-97, sleeves-10, length from shoulder-83.5 and shoulder to shoulder-36. Handmade by yours truly in Australia. Tried on by UK10-12 and is perfect.
Flaws: fade line across chest and one side of back. This is common in vintage fabrics. Has been slightly reduced in price.
Please take in mind the fabric is woven meaning not stretchy. Vintage fabrics may have small imperfections due to time and use during the past which is the beauty of it – sustainable and being able to breathe new life into these gorgeous fabrics that have stories to tell.
